This resort fee includes two complimentary drinks at the bar (house wine or beer only and not two drinks per day just two drinks), wired internet access (not very useful if you have a wireless device like an ipad or a smart phone), a USA Today Newspaper (most large hotels will give you a newspaper for free), access to the Luxor's exercise equipment (most hotels let you use their exercise equipment for free), and unlimited phone calls (not very useful since most people nowadays use their cell phones instead). So, if you reserve a room for $90.00/night, with the resort fee included, you're actually paying $108.00/night.

After you check in, they tack on an extra $18.00 per day 'Resort Fee'. The price the Luxor quotes you for a hotel room is not what you actually pay for your room.
